Synopsis

A charming series that sees a group of familiar faces travelling on various different types of boats around the beautiful south coast of England. On route from Cornwall to London, each episode sees one group travelling in luxury whilst the other group roughs it in a working vessel. Each stage of the journey is lead by one of the crew who has a particular passion for that stretch of coastline, and they share their stories of the area and the people who inhabit it – hoping that their enthusiasm will rub off on their fellow travellers! From the Cornwall to Devon stretch, three very different TV presenters - Richard Madeley, Dawn Porter and Nick Hancock - travel in luxury aboard a vintage motor yacht, while actor Bradley Walsh, TV chef Rosemary Shrager and sports / entertainer presenter Mark-Durden Smith go back to basics making the passage on a fishing trawler. From Dorset to Hampshire, Mark, Bradley and Rosemary travel on a luxurious multi-million pound sailing yacht, while Dawn, Richard and Nick crew an 80 year old Tall Ship. And from East Sussex to London, Nick, Richard and Dawn travel in style on a luxury motor yacht, while Rosemary, Bradley and Mark have a grittier experience aboard a 1930s torpedo boat!
