Freed from prison, sentenced to small town life
Back to Life is written by Daisy Haggard (Episodes, Uncle) and former Perrier winner Laura Solon. Haggard plays Miri, who has just been released from a decade in prison following a terrible crime. Now in her late thirties, with no job, no friends and no choice but to move back in with her parents, Miri is desperate to move on, put the past behind her and get back to her life; but, in a small town where her crime is the most dramatic thing that has ever happened, will anyone let her?

"This six-parter is, in places, bitter as nuclear wind, in places life-affirmingly warm and funny, and Daisy Haggard knows, very much, what she’s doing, holding a vial of smelling salts up to our own lazy censoriousness with and style and melancholy, and expect awards"
"It’s a serious grown up comedy"
"Back to Life Is the Next Must-Watch Show for Fleabag Fans"
