Can urban families become full-time farmers?
Many people dream of leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind and heading for a new life in the country. But does the reality live up to the fantasy? Join presenters Kate Humble and Gareth Wyn Jones as three families from across the UK pack up their lives and go to work on a stunning hill farm in the spectacular countryside of Snowdonia.
They experience an immersive, hands-on introduction to practical farming, whilst living in a purpose-built yurt camp and find out if the realities of farming life - long hours, hard physical work, risk and reward - live up to the dream of living a simpler, more rural life.
As the series reveals the joys, challenges and frustrations of farming, will each family’s bonds withstand life outside their comfort zone?
