A fast - paced observational documentary series following the rapid response helicopter paramedic team of Auckland, New Zealand. They save lives - fast. With three major true stories per episode and key characters driving the storyline – we are onboard New Zealand’s busiest rescue aircraft for a hair raising ride. Every day, the machine’s in the air confronting accidents beyond imagination. Sometimes it’s tough. Bleak. At other times it is inspiring, emotional and uplifting. And that’s just the morning shift. In Chopper Squad – we have the privilege of climbing on board and meeting this team – as they take us on their daily rescue missions. Anything can happen. These are big jobs – the A Stories – where their speed and precision is needed to simply save a life.
