Trained to spy in wartime, but never given the chance to test her skills, Feef lands a job in the British civil service. In the aftermath of a shock Socialist election victory, fanatical American agent Rowe targets her to spy on her own country. Her mission: to root out suspected Soviet penetration of the British government. Gutsy and determined, Feef rises to the challenge. But when she disovers that her predecessor was likely murdered, and the danger of discovery mounts, Feef is left wondering if she's made a disastrous mistake.
