Too Posh To Parent

1 x 1 hr

Providing parental services to those who flash their cash

‘Parental Outsourcing’ has become big business; from etiquette training, to professional potty trainers that will guarantee results in 3 days – modern parents have never had so many experts to choose from.

If you can afford it.

Many believe parental support services are a necessity of modern life, enabling quality time between parents and their children. Others strongly feel it’s simply a by-product of lazy parenting.

The 1x60’ pop-doc will subtly explore this controversial and polarizing subject through a cast that provide parental services to the super rich and the families that use them.

The documentary will have unparalleled access to an array of wealthy families and the services they use, from 34 year old Nina Naustdal and her household of full-time staff to family concierge Lucy Challenger, who is on a mission to find a nanny for a client that can cook vegan food and ski.

We’ll capture wealthy family life and how the parents choose to spend their money on raising their kids. The documentary will reflect on themes such as social and racial hierarchy.
