The fabulous, stylish and fearless lady sleuth Phryne Fisher is back to her unconventional crime fighting antics – as she and Senior Detective Jack Robinson continue their playful frisson.
Self-assured as always, she scales more tall buildings and masters an increasing variety of foreign languages that help her solve more crimes, uncover more scams and expose illicit affairs - while revealing some of the deepest buried secrets of the 1920s…
With her dagger sharp wit, she knows exactly how to play her cards even when blatant manipulation, outrageous flirtation or even grandstanding is required… all in the name of justice of course.
From murders on film sets and jewelry robberies, to horse betting scams, fight rigging, rum smuggling and sea burial conspiracies…. it’s not much of a mystery to Phryne!
A soundtrack for the series is commercially available for licence and features a selection of 18 atmospheric original and jazz-era inspired tracks.
